Learn all about horses, saddling, feeding, and grooming while having a fun weekend riding the dusty trails with your daughter and other mom and daughter groups. Our Equestrian Director will show you a wonderful weekend enjoying daily trail rides. There is limited space, so early to secure your horse and saddle.

Bridles & Bibles is our after school ministry serving those in the Marble Falls school district. Days vary according to level. Students learning about horse behavior, how to safely handle horses, developing skills under saddle, assisting with barn chores, and at the end of the day we have bible studies to learn about God and what it means to have an active relationship with him.

Join us for a weekend full of cleaning and raking and sprucing up camp so that we will be prepared for the Spring, which is right around the corner. Come join in the fellowship and fun and bring your hammer, rake, shovel, work gloves as well as lots of energy. Please don't forget to register! Come join us for great Bible teaching, enthusiastic worship, sweet fellowship and lots and lots of laughter and fun! Anyone over 50 is invited to attend this retreat. Special programs and speakers, campfires\, good food, and tours are just a part of the retreat experience. We are back to the weekday program! We kick off on Monday with at dinner (6:30 PM) and ends on Thursday morning after breakfast cookout. This is a great time to join in the fun!

Camp Peniel, a place where God is known, and lives are changed. Be prepared for adventure on 382 acres of the beautiful hill country! Swim in our spring-fed lake, hike, ride horses, or challenge yourself on the zip-line. Peniel was founded in 1946 for the sole purpose of reaching today's youth for Jesus Christ. We operate as a non-denominational ministry.  We believe that every week of camp should be a life changing experience because of the extreme fun experienced and the rock solid Bible training received. Our mission is to challenge every camper to strengthen their personal relationship with Christ while experiencing an Adventure...... With A Purpose!

We are in the Texas Hill Country approximately one hour northwest of Austin.

 

From Houston:

 I-10 W to 71.  Exit 71 just past Columbus.  Take 71 through Austin.  Exit Hwy 281N Burnet/Marble Falls.  In Marble Falls, you come to an intersection for FM 1431.  Make right on 1431.  Camp Peniel is 6.5 miles on your left.

 

From Austin:

Option 1: I-35 N to FM 1431 (Chandler Rd.) west.  Go through Cedar Park,  Jonestown and Lago Vista. Camp is 20 miles from Lago Vista on right.

Option 2:  71 W to Hwy 281 N. In Marble Falls, turn right on FM 1431.  Camp Peniel is 6.5 miles on your left.

 

From Dallas/Ft. Worth: 

I-35 S to Georgetown. Take Hwy 29 W toward Burnet. Turn left in Bertram onto 1174 At the "T", take a right (west) onto 1431. The camp entrance is on the right in 6 miles.
